BBGA Attorney and His Wife Turn Farm into Endangered Horse Rescue Operation

BBGA Real Estate Attorney Chip Brown and his wife, Paulette, are the focus of a recent feature article published in the Athens Banner-Herald for their work with endangered horses.

The couple owns a farm in Colbert and the two of them, along with a group of volunteers, have improved the lives of nearly two dozen horses through their rescue operation, Redux Equine Rescue. It includes feeding the horses, training them, and then pairing them with potential adopters.

“We got our own horses and started riding and doing things and that’s kind of how the rescue evolved,” said Paulette Brown. “I kept being asked by veterinarians whose clients were selling their farms or were getting older – ‘Do you know anybody who knows how to care for these horses?’ And I kept finding good homes for horses.”
