Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C. (BBGA) is pleased to announce the addition of two new attorneys: Alana T. Cochran and Christian Holcomb.
Alana Thomas Cochran is a business & estate planning attorney who will practice in our Athens office. Alana was born and raised in Oconee County. She attended Georgia State University on a softball scholarship, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2012. Alana went on to attend law school at Georgia State University College of Law.
Following law school, Alana worked as a closing attorney in Buckhead before moving to Oklahoma. Since 2016, she has lived in multiple states across the U.S., working in title and escrow across the nation.
Alana and her husband returned to Athens in October of 2023, when Alana joined BBGA. Alana’s history gives her a unique perspective on estate planning and business transactions, having handled real estate transactions across the country. Her goal is to pour into her community and be a resource for families around the state who want to plan for their futures.
Christian Holcomb joined the Lake Oconee office in the fall of 2023. Christian’s practice includes commercial and residential real estate, business representation, and estate planning.
Christian was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science in 2020. While at UGA, Christian interned with a Georgia State Senator and a candidate for U.S. Congress.
After graduating from UGA, Christian attended Georgia State University College of Law and earned his J.D. in 2023. In law school, Christian was a member of the Estate Planning and Wealth Management Law Society and a Student Attorney with the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. During the summer, Christian worked as a law clerk at BBGA’s Lake Oconee office.
