Greg O’Connell

Greg O’Connell is a Commercial Real Estate attorney at Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C.

At Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C., Greg utilizes his familiarity with on-the-ground business operations, training with complex data analysis, and his love for the Athens area, to creatively service each client’s commercial real estate needs. Greg emphasizes a practical approach when reviewing sales contracts, negotiating leases, or drafting easements. Greg always keeps the client’s bottom line at the forefront of his practice.

A native of Pekin, Indiana, Greg attended the University of Georgia, where he performed laboratory research on cancerous cell lines in S. cerevisiae. He also disc-jockeyed at 90.5FM WUOG on his way to earning his Bachelor of Science in genetics. After graduation, Greg began his business specializing in custom electronics and repair until attending University of Georgia School of Law in 2019. Greg served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law while attending law school. He also served as a research assistant to Professor Dan Coenen.

In his free time, Greg enjoys recording music, animating, and being with his family.
