Thomas F. Hollingsworth, III

Thomas F. Hollingsworth III grew up in Athens, Georgia. Thomas is a respected advocate for injured clients and their families. His practice focuses on business representation and the administration of product liability cases. Thomas works with his clients from their first contact with the firm through the ultimate resolution of their legal claims. Thomas worked with clients in the recovery of more than $500 million and the resolution of clients’ bankruptcies, probate estates, and health related liens associated with their product liability claims.

Thomas attended Wake Forest University where he earned his B.S. in Business. He went on to obtain his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. Prior to joining Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C. in 2004, Thomas worked in the Business Recovery Services group of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he specialized in working with management of underperforming businesses in business turnaround engagements.

Thomas’ practice has earned him recognition from many prestigious organizations. He is a L.E.A.D. Athens graduate, a former faculty member for Georgia Banking School Presented by Georgia Bankers Association, and the recipient of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Award for Excellence in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Additionally, he was named to Georgia Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite in Business Law, and was selected for inclusion in the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list.

When he is not working, Thomas remains active in his local community. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Athens Academy. Additionally, he is the former Chairman of the Board for Prevent Child Abuse Athens, former member of the board for St. Mary’s Healthcare System, a former member of the American Heart Association board, a former Director for the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce, and a former member of the Athens Academy Alumni Board.
