Blake Ogden

Blake Ogden joined the personal injury team at Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C. in August 2019. Blake’s practice at BBGA includes medical malpractice, car and truck accidents, nursing home abuse, and other personal injury cases.

Blake was born and raised in Baxley, Georgia, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Environmental Economics and Management.

After working for a large poultry processing company in northeast Georgia, Blake earned his J.D. at the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, Blake was a member of the articles managing board for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.

He also served as a research assistant at the law library and was a board member of the Annual Red Clay conference. Blake participated in the public defense clinic at the Western Circuit Public Defender’s Office as well. Blake graduated magna cum laude in 2018 and was inducted in the Order of the Coif.

Before joining BBGA, Blake served as a law clerk for the Honorable Keith R. Blackwell on the Georgia Supreme Court. Blake’s experience on the Court offered him a unique perspective into appellate practice and how judges decide difficult issues.

Blake lives in Athens with his wife, Megan, and their two small children, Mason and Sawyer. In his free time, Blake enjoys camping with his family, playing music with friends, and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.
