M. Austin Joseph

Austin Joseph is a business attorney at Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley, P.C. He assists clients with business and commercial litigation matters.  

Austin is a native of Waycross, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia, earning a B.A. in Entertainment and Media Studies, and an English minor. Austin soon became a “Double-Dawg” after attending the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, Austin served as the Executive Notes Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. Austin published a Note in the 27th Volume of the Journal of Intellectual Property Law regarding copyright law and social media.

In his final year of law school, Austin served as a student member of the Jane W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic, a legal clinic dedicated to assisting domestic abuse survivors.

In his free time, Austin enjoys exploring the Athens’ food scene with his wife and cocker spaniel, reading, and traveling.
