BBGA Sponsors 7th Annual Rotary Club Athens GAWhile most people were warm and cozy in their bed on Saturday morning, Feb. 3, nearly 100 people combatted near-freezing temperatures – and even colder water – at Sandy Creek Park’s Lake Chapman for the 7th-annual Rotary Club of Athens Plungefest.

BBGA sponsored this year’s event and two employees even took the plunge, Shareholder Tripp Bridges and Legal Assistant Billie Jean Jeffcoat. Characters at the event included of course, a polar bear (the mascot), a pair of squirrels, a group of “red hot chili peppers,” a unicorn, a pair of strawberries, a giraffe, and a group of Scotsmen (ACCPD), with little more on than kilts and some blue paint.
