2019 BBGA Law Scholarship Opportunity
As a law firm in a college-focused community, Blasingame, Burch, Garrard, & Ashley, P.C. knows how important a college degree is.
We also know how expensive school can be, whether you’re going out of state or somewhere local. That’s why we’re introducing the BBGA Blog Post Scholarship!
Each year, BBGA will pick one winning blog post to receive $1,500 for the next semester/school year. The winner will be selected in early August, and we’ll ask for your financial aid office information (where we’ll send the check) once you’ve been selected.
So How Do I Win?
It’s simple, write a 500-word blog post about the subject chosen for the yearly scholarship. Add images (beware of copyright infringement) and other visual aids as you see fit. Feel free to create your own graphics!
2019 Topic
Self-Driving Vehicles
This year, we’re asking students to write a 500+ word post covering the topic of self-driving cars. You can take this in any direction you choose. Write about job implications, how it will impact travel, whether you think it’s a viable option for the future, or anything else you can think to include.
Requirements for Entry
- Write your post
- Submit your post as a Microsoft Word document in the form provided
- Along with your post, send your name, address, phone number, and school you attend or will be attending
Who is Eligible?
- High school seniors accepted to a university, college, or trade school.
- Students currently enrolled in a university, college, or trade school.
We will judge entries based on quality of writing, depth of subject matter, and presentation.
When’s it Due?
Students need to submit their entry by August 1, 2019.
Winner will be selected by August 15th, 2019.
