Kirsten Pickering Charles

Kirsten Charles is a residential real estate attorney at Blasingame, Burch, Garrard & Ashley. Prior to real estate, Kirsten worked on a variety of mass tort litigations at BBGA for almost 9 years.

After graduating high school in Memphis, TN, Kirsten attended the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2009. While at UE, Kirsten was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity for Women and served on the executive board, as well as studied abroad in England. Following that, she attended the University of Mississippi School of Law and graduated with her J.D. in 2013. 

While in law school, Kirsten worked in the Child Advocacy Clinic, spent a semester as a limited practicing attorney in the local District Attorney’s office, served on the honor council, and participated in several in-house competitions. During the summers of law school and college, she worked as a swim coach for a summer swim league.

Kirsten is an active member of the Athens-Clarke County and Jackson County communities. She is a member of the Western Circuit Bar Association, is a sustainer of the Junior League of Athens, is currently serving on the board of Peace Place, and previously sat on the board of The Cottage. She has also been an adviser for the Alpha Alpha Chapter of Phi Mu at the University of Georgia for 8 years, serving as chapter adviser for 4 years, and is currently the recruitment adviser. 

In her free time, Kirsten enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, reading, and traveling.
